Industrial safety monitoring with TRASSIR analytics in India
A major steel alloy plant in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India has implemented TRASSIR’s intelligent video analytics platform to strengthen safety monitoring across its production facility.
The plant required a solution capable of detecting unexpected steam releases from pipelines, which previously relied on manual reporting from workers in operational zones. This process often delayed incident reporting and created potential risks for personnel.
Using TRASSIR NeuroStation and Neuro Fire & Smoke analytics, the new system continuously analyzes camera feeds from critical areas of the plant. When abnormal steam emissions are detected, the platform immediately sends alerts to operators and activates a hooter alarm in the control room.
The project demonstrates the flexibility of TRASSIR’s open architecture, which allows seamless integration with external systems and customized alert mechanisms for industrial safety scenarios.
Today, the plant benefits from faster incident detection, reduced manual intervention, and improved response time for safety-related events.
