AutoPass in practice — designing efficient vehicle access systems

AutoPass is not just an ANPR camera — it is a different approach to building vehicle access systems.
By moving license plate recognition directly to the camera, AutoPass allows operators and integrators to reduce system complexity while keeping access control predictable and transparent.

Controlled vehicle entry points

AutoPass is designed for entry points where vehicle speed is moderate and predictable — such as parking entrances at residential complexes, business centers, office parks, and gated facilities.

At these locations:
- Vehicles are recognized as they approach the barrier
- Access decisions are made automatically based on license plate lists
- Every entry is logged with visual evidence

Unknown or blocked vehicles can be reviewed by an operator through TRASSIR VMS.

Result:
smoother traffic flow, fewer manual interventions, and clear access history.

Business facilities and office parks

In commercial environments, AutoPass helps security teams manage staff, visitor, and service vehicle access without constant operator involvement.

Whitelists, temporary permissions, and event logs allow:
- Reduced checkpoint workload
- Faster investigations
- Better accountability

Parking areas and restricted zones

AutoPass can be used to control access to private parking areas, service yards, and restricted zones without issuing physical credentials.
Recognition happens on the camera, while TRASSIR VMS provides centralized visibility and control.

Why AutoPass changes system design

- Recognition load is moved fr om server to camera
- Network traffic is reduced — only recognition data is transmitted
- System scaling depends on camera count, not server performance
