Kayaşehir Fuar ve Sergi Alanı is a modern indoor market and exhibition complex located in Başakşehir, Istanbul, Turkiye. Operating as both a marketplace and a venue for public events, the facility provides a comfortable, weather-protected environment for shoppers, vendors, and visitors.

The complex features approximately 8,000 m² of indoor space across three levels, including dedicated food and textile sections, multipurpose halls, retail units, and an 850-space parking area. Open on Mondays and Fridays, the venue welcomes a high volume of visitors, making reliable security and operational monitoring essential.

Project background

Managing security across a large public facility with multiple entrances, retail areas, and extensive outdoor spaces required a more intelligent approach than traditional surveillance alone.

The primary objective was to strengthen perimeter protection during non-operational hours while improving operational visibility throughout market days. The client also wanted to automate visitor counting across different areas and reduce the workload on security personnel through AI-powered video analytics.

Solution

TRASSIR deployed an intelligent surveillance solution combining advanced perimeter protection with operational analytics.

The solution included:
    • 120 TRASSIR cameras (TR-D2151IR3 v2 2.8)
    • TRASSIR NeuroStation 8800R/64 servers
    • TRASSIR Neuro Detector
    • TRASSIR Neuro Counter

TRASSIR Neuro Detector provides continuous perimeter monitoring and automatically detects unauthorized activity in restricted areas. When an intrusion is identified, the system immediately activates alarms and broadcasts warning messages through connected loudspeakers, helping deter intruders before security personnel need to intervene.

TRASSIR Neuro Counter monitors visitor traffic across multiple zones and automatically generates reports for different time periods, providing management with valuable operational insights.

Results and impact

Following deployment, the market significantly strengthened security while reducing the need for constant manual monitoring. AI-powered perimeter protection now operates continuously, allowing security personnel to focus on verified events rather than routine patrols. Automated visitor analytics also provide reliable data for operational planning and facility management.
