Govardhan Ecovillage is a spiritual and ecological community. Set across 150 acres in the foothills of the Sahyadri mountains, just a two-hour drive from Mumbai, India, it serves as a peaceful retreat for pilgrims and visitors from around the world. The site includes temples, meditation centers, guest accommodations, and utility infrastructure — all requiring reliable monitoring and protection.

Project background

With its vast open terrain and growing number of visitors, Govardhan Ecovillage faced challenges in maintaining security and managing visitor flow. Local villagers occasionally entered restricted areas such as lakes, ponds, and utility zones, posing risks to both safety and operations. The management also needed a better way to count devotees during cultural events, improve parking management, and monitor staff and volunteers across the large campus.

Project solution

To address these needs, Govardhan Ecovillage partnered with TRASSIR to create an integrated, AI-powered security and management system. The deployment included:

• TRASSIR NeuroStation 8800R/160-A8-S as the central processing server
• AnyIP VMS channel licenses for full integration with existing Hikvision cameras
• Neuro Detector for real-time intrusion alerts
• Face Recognition, AutoTRASSIR Parking, Neuro Counter, and Workplace Detector analytics modules
• A custom Alarm Monitor Python Script for scheduled alerts

The system provided intelligent perimeter protection, vehicle and people counting, automated parking control, and staff tracking — all through a unified TRASSIR interface.

The Ecovillage now benefits from:
